About Us
Our Missionaries

Cliff and Eloise Hunnicutt
Our Pastor and his wife were born in Macon, Georgia, U.S.A. They were married on April 11, 1950, pledging to honor God together for the rest of their lives.
Cliff was ordained to Christian ministry in 1955 by the First Baptist Church of Swainsboro, Georgia. This was the church where he came to Christ at age ten and not long after, felt God’s call to be a missionary. After ordination, he became pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church which had begun as a mission of First Baptist.
One Lord’s Day while Cliff was challenging his congregation to a deeper missionary commitment, God reminded him of his own childhood missionary call. While pleading with others to heed God’s call, he joyfully committed himself to be a missionary to serve Christ for the rest of his life.
After their preparation, the Hunnicutts left for India, where they served the Lord from 1965 until God directed them to Singapore in 1968. Trusting God every step of the way, they began laboring among Chinese Singaporeans as soon as they arrived and soon established the Harvester Baptist Church. Today they have ministered across Southeast Asia—in Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia—and even Sri Lanka and China.
Cliff turned 82 in October 2010. Eloise is now 81. Throughout their years in Singapore, they have lovingly led us in the way of truth, both through their ministry and the consistent daily example of their lives.
